POLL: Is Kenny Dalglish right to employ this risky strategy?

Kenny Dalglish plans to put out the 'strongest team' available to him against Rangers tonight. Given the fact that game is a friendly (in name only), and injuries to key players could prove costly, is this the right strategy?

Speaking about tonight's game, Kenny confirmed:

"It's not like we're going to be allowed to go up there to take it nice and easy casual.

"We'll go up there with as strong a team as we possibly can, and the strength of the team we put out will be the strongest one that we have".

With the club being in the unique position of being injury free at the moment, this could see many of Liverpool's most important players taking part in the game.

  1. Don't agree w/ Kenny on this. An injury to somebody like Suarez/Gerrard/Adam/Enrique in a friendly match when we've got some tough fixtures coming up to decide extremely important top-four positions is the least thing we need now.

  2. we need to keep going, what he will do is leave the gerrard, suarez and one other player on until we get a comfortable lead then he will take them off and put in a few kids

  4. It seems silly to me to play say Suarez for example after the weekends allegations and also due to the fact he's not stopped since xmas last year (dutch winter break)

Bellamy for me deserves a run out, he must be frustrated cant believe kenny didnt bring him on at weekend. Cant believe hes also only started 1 game, which he scored in.

  5. Kenny taking the fans for idiots again with his spin.He will play strongest team available,in other words all the important players will not be available,Suarez,Gerrard etc.He will play his expensive flops Carroll,Henderson, players who cannot get games. He cannot come out and say im playing a weakened team,im playing £35m Carroll,£20m Henderson etc then hes admitting hes wasted all Our money.

  6. We all know kenny has bought some ultimate rubbish for the money he spent..Henderson and Carroll have offered us absolutely nothing..we are two players short in our squad because of these two and 55million short . If we hadn't bought these two and not bought anybody else we would been in the same situation that we are in now but atleast 55 million for January would have been available .

  8. It may give us some boost if we put our strongest squad, it helps the gelling. Give Carroll and Coates go.
