  1. What a terrible pity that you have decided to withdraw from the spotlight. I did both admire and enjoy reading your angle of LFC. I am still fascinated with the club I grew up with. I read as many views as possible and I do enjoy how differing opinions are all channeled toward the one end. I myself have grown weary of the sycophantic numb-skulls who can't see the wood for the trees, and can't read without prejudice differing opinions. I hope you feel sufficiently guilty for depriving us of balance in the world of Football blogging.

At least give us one more in depth article outlining why, I know you will point to previous articles, but it's some time since your last article.

    Best of luck!

  3. Jaimie Kanwar is an articulate Everton fan who likes nothing more than to write negative articles about Liverpool FC, an in particular, Rafa Benitez.  He does so with a fantastic guise as a Liverpool fan and generates a lot of feedback with his sensationalistic approach to journalism.  Jaimie lives in Tokyo and dreams to one day go to England and Goodison Park.

:-D  Just joking Jaimie, I believe you're a scouser, but you can see why people think maybe you're not!

  4. Just to clarify - I'm a Liverpool fan, but I'm not a scouser.

I was going to leave you a comment basically bashing you and calling you names but instead I willl just say this... If you think Rafa leaving will benefit LFC your wrong.... Don't get me wrong Rafa is not perfect, and has made a lot of mistakes, but what he is doing from the inside the club is heroic... If Rafa leaves now, the club will be so much worse off, and you have to see that... You can rant & rave against Rafa all you want, but H&G are the real problem, and if they were not here, then we would not be in the state we are now, on or off the pitch.... The lack of squad depth is their fault and that is our main downfall at the moment... You seem to like stats, but you only use them to your advantage... Try being honest and less biased and maybe people will take you more seriously... your latest stat collection says Rafa is responsible for an almost 37.5mil loss, yet H&G are only responsible for 9.3mil... Seriously???? H&G are at fault for our lack of squad depth, thye are responsible for the players we have (not all) so therefore they have cost us 46.8mil!!!!  The fact that since they have been here we have had to sell to buy, and have spend 2mil net over the last 2 season is their fault... How in the hell is Rafa supposed to improve the team this way????? Rafa is responsible for only on thing this season, and that is us playing like shat for most of it, but you also have to look at the underlying causes, which you have chosen to ignore... If you want a "yes" man in charge of us, and have us fade in to a midtable/relegation battling team, then keep up your anti Rafa cursade, but if you truly care about LFC, then you need to support Rafa until H&G are gone, and pick up this crusade afterwards.... You have every right to want Rafa gone, but now is not the time. Not a difficult choice if you look at the big picture, and the future of our beloved club...

  8. For a supposed Liverpool fan he does a lot of complaining about anything and everything to do with the club.

I suggest he follow Bristol Rovers since he lives there, has never been to Liverpool, and obviously never watches LFC in the flesh.

Makes you wonder what he could accomplish if he worked for good rather than evil :)

  9. I gotta admit Jaime, sometimes, you bring up very interesting and valid insights into the team. However, I suggest you stop using "stats" to back up your arguments. To put it simply, you don't understand data collection and statistics. For example, you can't just look at win/loss ratio, goals for or goals conceded to determine a person's impact without accounting for confounding factors such as the person's teammates, opponents strength, etc... Also, if you HAVE to just base your arguments on these stats, you should at least make sure you are getting statistically significant results. You are not showing that any differences in any of your comparisons are actual differences (not random errors).

  10. Great website. Can't wait till you get back online. I was wondering what you think about extra balls being tossed on pitches in Spanish League games to disrupt offensive and how it should be punished.

Keep up the great work (and the irritating of ignorant Liverpool fans).

Is this crazed Duncan Oldham wannabe still in his hilarious, self imposed exile? Hope you stay there Kanwar.
