Photo Proof: Liverpool's 'wonderful' forgotten man trains with Lovren/Matip. Burnley surprise inclusion?

Long term injury victim Marko Grujic confirmed this week that he's on the brink of a return to first-team action, and with injuries piling up for Jurgen Klopp, perhaps there's a chance that he'll feature at Anfield today...?

Grujic hasn't featured for Liverpool since a 90th minute cameo against Leeds on November 29th, and prior to that, he last started on October 25th against Spurs.

In early December, Klopp claimed that Grujic had suffered a 'tendon injury' and was 'on the way back', but three months later, and Grujic was still missing from Klopp's match day squads.

Well, Grujic is finally back in action, and after played 60 minutes of the U23s' recent 5-1 thrashing of Reading, confirmed:

"One more step closer to being fully fit".

Grujic - hailed by Klopp as a 'wonderful' player - has trained with the first-team all week, and as this photo shows, he played a full part in Friday's penultimate session:

With Henderson and Sturridge definitely out of the squad, and Firmino almost certainly on the bench (or also out) after missing a full week's training, perhaps Grujic can earn a place on the bench for today's game?

If 17-year old Ben Woodburn can regularly make the bench, then Grujic - who is older, more experienced, and getting fitter by the day - must surely be under consideration.
