Next Mane? Klopp wants 'extraordinary' €26m attacker who rejected Barca transfer. Liverpool 'offer' made in 2014

Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for one of Sadio Mane's Senegal team-mates.

According to Italian newspaper Gazetta Dello Sport:

* Keita Balde Diao has 'informed Lazio' that he will not accept any contract renewal.

* Liverpool, Inter, Arsenal, Juventus, Milan, Chelsea and Liverpool are all interested in signing him.

* Lazio are willing to sell for €25m.

Liverpool's interest in the allegedly 'extraordinary' Balde is well established:

* Sep 2013: The Daily Mail reported that Liverpool's scouts watched Balde on his Lazio debut.

* Mar 2014: The Mirror claimed that Liverpool scouts continued to check on Balde.

* Sep 2014: Balde's agent, Anglo Cascella, told reporters: "Liverpool made a €20m million offer, but Lazio rejected their offer".

* Feb 2015: Reports claimed that LFC scout Barry Hunter had urged Rodgers to sign Diao.

* Jul 2015: Diao's agent told reporters: “Liverpool have a manager who relishes attacking players like Keita. It is a destination we would like".

* Oct 2015: Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claimed that Diao requested a transfer 'amid interest from Liverpool and Arsenal'.

Some info about Diao:

* 21-year old winger (like Mane). Can play on the left or the right, or as a striker.

* Kicked out of Barca at 15 for playing a prank on a tour of Qatar, then later rejected the chance to return.

* 2010-11: Scored 47 goals in one season for UE Cornellà's youth team.

* Lazio: 45 goals/assists in 120 apps (One every 148 mins)

* This Season: 9 goals/assist sin 17 apps (One every 119 mins).

Perhaps Mane has had a word in Klopp's ear about bringing Keita Balde to Anfield...?

Bev is having her bone marrow transplant today (Wed19th April). It's a big operation, and she'll be on life support for the duration. The recovery process is going to be very tough and unfortunately carries a great deal of risk with regards to infection, which could be life threatening due to the process requiring her immune system to have been purposefully wiped out beforehand (so that it doesn't f!ght against/reject the transplant). Sadly, the preparation treatment has adversely affected her heart as well and currently it is beating much lower than it should be so we have to hope that soon starts to recover as well. More HERE.
