Confirmed Teams: €50m Liverpool duo benched; 'Brilliant' £100k-a-week star returns; big injury boost

'Brilliant' Liverpool defender Joel Matip returns to the matchday squad for today's Premier League clash with Swansea City.

FULL TEAM: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino.

SUBS: Karius, Matip, Moreno, Lucas, Woodburn, Origi, Sturridge

SWANSEA: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson, Carroll, Cork, Fer, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Llorente

* After FIFA's ruling last night, Matip is eligible to play, but Klopp has (rightly) kept faith with the Lovren-Klavan partnership, which is currently performing well (Only two goals conceded from open play in the last 7 games).

* Clyne and Henderson also make the starting lineup, which is good news after their recent injury worries.

* After a midweek blank against Plymouth Argyle, Sturridge and Origi are back on the bench, with Firmino preferred upfront.

* Given the personnel, it looks like Lallana will be part of the front three, with Can, Hendo, and Wijnaldum in central midfield.

Probable formation:

------------- Mignolet
Clyne ---- Lovren - Klavan ---- Milner
----- Can ---- Hendo --- Wijnaldum
--- Lallana - FIrmino - Coutinho

There's no way that Liverpool can lost at home against the bottom club in the league...right?

* Sturridge/Origi: €50m combined value (CIES). Matip: Reportedly on £100k-a-week

Bev is having her bone marrow transplant today (Wed19th April). It's a big operation, and she'll be on life support for the duration. The recovery process is going to be very tough and unfortunately carries a great deal of risk with regards to infection, which could be life threatening due to the process requiring her immune system to have been purposefully wiped out beforehand (so that it doesn't f!ght against/reject the transplant). Sadly, the preparation treatment has adversely affected her heart as well and currently it is beating much lower than it should be so we have to hope that soon starts to recover as well. More HERE.
