Liverpool vs. Sevilla: Champions League - Confirmed Teams

As I'm sure many will agree, one of the keys to achieving defensive solidity is to (where possible) consistently play the same back four, and keep the same goalkeeper between the sticks for more than two games in a row.

This is obvious to everyone with even rudimentary knowledge of football...everyone except Jurgen Klopp, that is, whose ingenious solution to Liverpool's damaging defensive instability is to keep chopping and changing the defence for no apparent reason.

FULL TEAM: Karius, Gomez, Lovren, Matip, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Can, Henderson, Salah, Mane, Firmino.

SUBS: Mignolet, Milner, Coutinho, Sturridge, Klavan, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Robertson.

Atrocious decision to drop Mignolet. Yes, he conceded five goals against Man City, but he isn't the problem right now. Mignolet has been solid for the last 9 months, and he's certainly a better option than Loris 'caught in possession' Karius, who proved against Arsenal that he *not* the calming presence Liverpool need at the back.

Oh well, hopefully Karius will have nothing to do again, and Liverpool will prevail.
