'Best I've Ever Seen': Klopp hails £20m Liverpool star for 'outstanding' performance vs. Stoke

After an atrocious first half, Liverpool staged a second half smash and grab at Stoke City today, which keeps the team in a strong position in the top four.

Here is some post match reaction:

* Jurgen Klopp: "Simon Mignolet made two outstanding saves. The second was one of the best saves I have ever seen".

* Luis Garcia: "What an Important win for the Reds. Amazing Roberto Firmino strike".

* John Aldridge: "What a great comeback. Super fighting spirit. Well done lads. Same required next week".

* Rob Jones: "Nice three points that. Good to see a couple of Academy lads starting".

* David Thompson: "What a turnaround to take huge pressure of Klopp's strange team selection/tactics".

* Patrik Berger: "What a great comeback. Fantastic 2nd half. Huge 3 points!".

* Jurgen Klopp: "It was lucky for us, of course, because of the first half, but in the end it’s deserved and we are completely happy and fine with this game".

* Nathaniel Clyne: "Great fight to come back and get the win".

A good fightback from Liverpool, but let's not get carried away; but for Mignolet's saves, Stoke could've had 2-3 goals, and that's from a team who - prior to this game - failed to score a single goal from open play in 7 hours.

With Klopp's ludicrous line-up and strange tactics, any half decent team would've murdered Liverpool in the first half, but luckily, Stoke are consistently rubbish.

Now the key is to build some momentum, and not throw it all away next week at West Brom.
