Confirmed Team News: Klopp reveals big 'problems'; €35m star 'cannot play'; Massive injury meltdown

Liverpool face Crystal Palace on Sunday, and ahead of the game, it looks like the Reds are in the midst of a growing injury crisis.

* Klopp on defenders: "[We have] muscle problems, Matip, Lucas [and] Klavan, who was a medial ligament [injury] but could be also really not enough time until Crystal Palace. They are not in training, so that's not too cool".

* Klopp on Lallana: "Adam [is] still with the rehab coach. [He] should be involved next week in normal training. Wednesday, Thursday, something like this".

* Klopp on Hendo: "He cannot really train, so we have to wait for this moment. He looks really healthy, but he cannot play football."

* According to the Liverpool Echo: "Matip and Lucas both took part in training yesterday [Friday] but worked with the rehab coach, while Klavan also trained outside".

* Mamadou Sakho will also miss the game as he is ineligible to play against his parent club.

* Allardyce on players availability: "It's important that James [Tomkins] is back. Loic [Remy] gives us another option. James McArthur has come back from his back spasm. Patrick van Aanholt has just got back so there's four very key players available".

Sadio Mane is already out for the rest of the season, so in the worst case scenario, Liverpool could be without six first-teamers on Sunday: Mane, Henderson, Lallana, Matip, Lucas, Klavan. Possible lineup without them:

------------- Mignolet
Clyne --- Gomez -- Lovren --- Milner
----- Can --- Stewart --- Wijnaldum
--- Firmino -- Origi --- Coutinho

On the plus side, a Sam Allardyce team has never come away from Anfield with a victory in the league, so even with all the injuries, the odds are in Liverpool's favour.

* €35m-rated (CIES Football Observatory). Described by Steven Gerrard as 'excellent'.
