Anfield Nightmare: 'Brilliant' €73m Liverpool duo miss training; Mane reveals when he'll be 'back'

Liverpool's injury worries continue, and it looks like two of the club's key players will be missing again for Sunday's trip to West Brom.

With Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana already ruled out for this weekend's clash, there's still no sign of Jordan Henderson making an imminent comeback.

Liverpool's captain missed training yet again on Wednesday, which and with only three days until the West Brom game, there's no way he's going to make it.

Emre Can is another notable absentee. Can played the full 90 minutes against Stoke last weekend, but has also missed training this week, which suggests that he has picked up an injury issue.

On the subject of Mane: the Senegalese attacker recently underwent surgery on his ankle injury, and on Wednesday, he provided the following injury update:

“I will give my very best after yesterday’s successful surgery to be back on the pitch as soon as possible and be even better than before.”

Like Liverpool's fans, Mane will be hoping that the Reds can maintain the momentum and qualify for the Champions League. With 21 goals/assists this season, Mane has played his part; now, it's down to Coutinho, Firmino et al to finish the job.

^ Can: Hailed by James Milner as 'brilliant'. Hendo: Described by Klopp as 'brilliant'. €73m combined value (CIES)
