Sign for Liverpool? Klopp handed big chance to sign 'unique' €50m attacker who wants transfer to the Prem

One of Liverpool's former transfer targets is set to leave Real Madrid this summer, and he wants a move to the Premier League.

Liverpool have been linked with 'unique' Real Madrid star Isco many times in the past, and according to Sky Sports this week:

"Isco is willing to leave Real Madrid this summer, and his representatives have informed [potential] suitors that he would accept a good offer to leave. Isco would prefer to move to the Premier League".

The Reds reportedly made contact with Madrid in 2014 to discuss a possible transfer, and in July 2016, TalkSport claimed that the Reds were 'monitoring' the Spaniard's situation. Klopp is confirmed admired of Isco, and during his time at Dortmund, he told reporters:

"We also wanted to sign Isco, but it was pretty clear that we were not going to have half a chance in the race to sign him"

Well, if €50m-rated Isco comes on the market this summer, Klopp will have another chance to sign a player who fits his high intensity pressing approach. Indeed, in a recent interview, the Spaniard explained how he'd adapted his game to fit that type of football:

“I took an important step when it came to regaining possession. I've had to do that to have a place in the [Madrid] team. I try to help by running and working. I became a more complete player.”

With 67 goals/assists in 173 apps (One every 160 mins), Isco's creative return for Madrid is comparatively average, but at the age of 24, his best years are still ahead. One thing's for sure - Reds fans would love to see Isco at Anfield. Last season, I conducted a site poll asking fans if Liverpool should sign Isco, and a whopping 78% of voters selected were in favour of the deal.

A good option for the right price?
