Shock Transfer: Klopp wants 'special' €15m sensation to replace Coutinho. Liverpool reps sent already

Are Liverpool preparing for the inevitable exit of the club's most exciting players?

Over the last two years, Philippe Coutinho has constantly been linked with a move to Barcelona, and according to Le360 Sport this week:

"Liverpool are closely following Hakim Ziyech. Jurgen Klopp personally sent Liverpool Reps to Amsterdam to scout Ziyech in his last few games. Klopp wants to offset the departure of Philippe Coutinho, who is going to Barcelona in the summer"

Over the last couple of years, Coutinho has been constantly linked with a move to Barcelona, and I fully expect him to be gone in the next 6-12 months. As such, it makes sense for Klopp to be looking at potential replacements, and when the time comes, Liverpool will hopefully have a number of top quality targets in mind to fill the Coutinho void.

Some info about Ziyech, hailed as a 'special' player by Rafael Van Der Vaart:

* 23 year old attacking midfielder. Contract expires: 2021

* Last 4 seasons: 105 goals/assists in 136 apps (One every 106 mins)

* This Season: 20 goals/assists in 26 apps (One every 105 mins)

* ESPN Scouting Report: "Lightning fast and agile. Left-footed, but possesses a decent right foot. Dribbling skills are exquisite. Vision is supreme. Keen eye for goal. Great dead-ball specialist. Potentially world-class playmaker".

* According to ESPN: "Ziyech would dearly love to play for Barcelona and Arsenal, the two clubs who he has supported all his life".

* Aug 2016: Twente Director Jan Van Halst admitted: "It would be nice if players like Ziyech stayed with Twente for life, but obviously this isn't possible. The right offer for Ziyech is €15m.”

* Dec 2015: Klaas Jan van der Veen of SoccerNews.nl noted: "At first, people were not sure about Hakim's temper, and he used to get very angry when fouled, but he learned to behave and became a star. Ziyech is a true No. 10 who likes to take a lot of risks with his passes and always thinks forward."

A player with a bit of anger and passion? Yes please! Ziyech certainly has a consistently good goals/assists record, and at 23, he's arguably at the right age to make the step up to the Premier League. Plus, unlike Coutinho (who was a bit-part player at Inter - Ziyech is playing regularly for his current club, and has a better creative record. A viable target?
