Confirmed Team News (Liverpool/Spurs): £80m trio out; 'brilliant' attacker misses training; Klopp confirms 'problems for defender

Liverpool face Spurs today in a massively important must-win clash at Anfield, and ahead of the game, here is the confirmed team news so far.

Jurgen Klopp's pre-match updates:

* On Lallana: “Adam Lallana was out for two days with a little problem with the Achilles. We have to see. He’s willing and we want, for sure, to try that he can train today and then he is available for tomorrow, because it was only two days".

* On Klavan: "Ragnar has had a real bacterial infection, so [had] six days in bed and [has] lost a little bit of weight".

* On Lovren: “It’s not 100 per cent sure if Dejan Lovren can train today, still [with] problems. We still have hope that it is possible".

Based on video from Liverpool's Friday training session, Lovren, Lallana, and Klavan all missed training, so it looks like all three will be out of today's game. As for Spurs:

* On Friday, Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen, and Erik Lamela are definitely out of today's game.

* He also confirmed that Kieran Trippier is available for the game.

Klopp's probable lineup without Klavan, Lovren, and Lallana:

--------------- Karius
Clyne ----- Matip -- Lucas ---- Milner
------ Can ---- Hendo --- Wijnaldum
---- Mane --- Firmino -- Coutinho

Predicting a 1-1 draw, Reds legend Mark Lawrenson told the BBC:

"This is a good game to get an improved performance out of Liverpool. Tottenham are good defensively, but their full-backs will bomb on and that will give Liverpool some space to work with, especially on the counter-attack".

* Rose, Lamela, and Vertonghen: £80m combined value (CIES). Lallana: Hailed as 'brilliant' by Alan Shearer.
