Confirmed: 'Excellent' £80k-a-week star out of Liverpool-Chelsea game tonight. Transfer almost done

Potentially good news for Liverpool: One of Chelsea's key players is definitely out of tonight's Premier League clash at Anfield.

Earlier today, ESPN claimed:

"Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is to fly out to Spain to finalise his move to Zenit St Petersburg, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC".

In the last hour, RSN reported:

"Branislav Ivanovic has arrived in St Petersburg ahead of his transfer to Zenit from Chelsea. He landed at around 1pm GMT".

Ivanovic has made 13 league appearances for Chelsea this season, and according to Antonio Conte this week:

"Ivanovic is a legend here. He has played a lot of games and won a lot. We must wait over these next three days and we will see".

Ivanovic always seems to play well against Liverpool, and over the years, he's also scored 3 goals against the Reds.

On a related note: Sadio Mane appears to be in Jurgen Klopp's first-team squad for tonight's game. Mane was pictured boarding Liverpool's first-team coach earlier, and appeared to be dressed in match-day gear:
