'Wonderful': Aldo, Sturridge, Owen etc react to Liverpool's 'excellent' 4-1 Stoke victory. Klopp hails Reds attacker

Another day, another high-scoring victory for Liverpool, which keeps Jurgen Klopp's team within touching distance of Chelsea at the top of the table.

Post-match reaction after Liverpool's 4-1 victory over Stoke City:

* Jurgen Klopp: "We forced two goals with our quality - both really important. It was a wonderful third goal and Daniel closed the game".

* Jordan Henderson: "Early on they put us under some pressure and we struggled to deal with the long ball, but we adapted well. The start wasn't great, but, after the goal, I thought we dominated again and scored some good goals."

* Roy Evans: "Good result in the end after a slow start reacted well to going 1 down. Great attitude and a deserved win".

* Michael Owen: "Great result from The Reds. Keeping tabs on Chelsea".

* Nathaniel Clyne: "Good performance and another 3 points".

* John Aldridge: "Great reaction after going 1-0 down. Can't fault anyone's performance. Excellent football".

* Neil Mellor: "Love that from Sturridge. Anticipating the back pass. Then great composure to go past the keeper and slot. Class. Strikers instinct".

* Daniel Sturridge: "I’m enjoying my football and when I get my minutes I focus myself, and if I’m not in the team I stay positive and give my input when I can.”

Pep Guardiola watched the game from the crowd, and if Liverpool can win on Saturday, it'll put some daylight between the Reds and Man City.
