Confirmed Team News: 'Brilliant' €78m Liverpool-duo out; Klopp confirms injured star is 'back'

Liverpool face Bournemouth on Sunday, and ahead of the game, there is a raft of confirmed team news.

* During his pre-match press conference, Klopp confirmed 'there will be a few changes', and Coutinho - who is out for '5 or 6 weeks' - is obviously one of them.

* The LFC website confirms that'brilliant' Reds striker Daniel Sturridge 'will miss the visit to Bournemouth as he continues to recover from a calf complaint".

* According to Klopp: "Having him [Lallana] back is cool. Adam has been training since Thursday. It was quite intense for him, but all good".

* Sky Sports claims: "According to Sky sources, Roberto Firmino and Joel Matip are expected to be fit for Sunday's Premier League clash at Bournemouth".

* On Friday, Eddie Howe told reporters: “Andrew Surman has had a slight setback and won’t be available. We’ll have to make a late call on Charlie Daniels".

* Summer signing Lewis Cook is also out with a long-term ankle injury.

My preferred team for Sunday's game:

------------- Karius
Clyne -- Lovren -- Matip ------ Milner
----- Can --- Hendo -- Stewart
----- Mane -- Origi --- Wijnaldum

* Lallana can't be fully match-fit, and groin strains are easy to aggravate, so there's no point in rushing him back.

* Ditto Firmino, who is still suffering 'pain' as a result of his calf injury.

In my view, both should start on the bench.

* Coutinho and Sturridge: Combined value = €78m (CIES Football observatory). Coutinho: Hailed as 'brilliant' by Pele.
