Klopp to Sign? 'Incredible' €28m Liverpool target who's 'like Pogba' drops massive 'transfer' hint

Liverpool target Geoffrey Kondogbia has hinted that he may be set to quit Inter Milan.

Last month, Kondogbia's agent, Jonathan Maarek, indirectly confirmed Liverpool's interest, and this week, the 'incredible' nidfielder has dropped the strongest hint that a move may be on the cards. He told L'Equipe:

"This is the hardest moment of my career. I'm a footballer and I want to play - if things do not change from this point of view then I will think about a transfer."

Kondogbia has fallen foul of now-deposed Inter boss Frank De Boer, who recently aired his frustration in 'public':

"He makes the same mistakes often. We cannot accept that from players when we’ve told them many times. I told him he needs to play simple balls, but he just doesn't want to listen".

Prior to being sacked this week, De Boer benched Kondogbia for 7 of Inter's last 9 games, and even subbed him off after 27 minutes in a recent match against Bologna. De Boer's exit doesn't appear to have made any difference, either, as caretaker boss Stefano Vecchi dumped Kondogbia from the matchday squad for last night's Europa League clash with Southampton.

Despite his apparent flaws, Liverpool fans appear to want Kondogbia at Anfield. I conducted a poll last month asking fans if the Reds should sign the €28m-rated midfielder. The results:

* 55% of participating fans voted YES to the deal.

According to De Boer, Kondogbia is 'like Pogba' (hardly a ringing endorsement these days!), and 'has all the characteristics needed to become a top player'.

Perhaps Jurgen Klopp can coach out Kondogbia's mistakes and push him to become a 'top player'...?
