Anfield Smackdown: Gary lineker reacts to Liverpool's 'thrilling' Watford thrashing; claims 'Klopp knows what he's doing'

England legend Gary lineker has hailed Liverpool's scintillating display against Watford.

The Reds hammered the hornets 6-1 at Anfield today, and reacting to the scoreline, Lineker raved:

"Liverpool are thrilling going forward these days. This Klopp fella seems to know what he's doing".

In my view, today's performance is the most imperious of the season, and after eleven games, the Reds have proven that they have the ability within the team to challenge for the title.

I say 'challenge', not 'win'. Talk of actually winning the title is grossly premature, but any team that's top of the league after eleven games is in with a chance of mounting a sustained challenge for the title. Some further post-match reaction:
