Confirmed Teams: Liverpool suffer last-gasp injury blow; 'brilliant' £28m attacker out; big surprise on the bench

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has named an unchanged team for today's Premier League clash with Sunderland

* FULL TEAM: Karius, Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Milner, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Mane, Coutinho, Firmino

* SUBS: Mignolet, Klavan, Moreno, Lucas, Ejaria, Origi, Woodburn

* SUNDERLAND: Pickford, Jones, Koné, O'Shea, van Aanholt, Pienaar, Denayer, Ndong, Watmore, Anichebe, Defoe

* According to the Daily Mail: "Liverpool will be without Daniel Sturridge after he picked up a minor calf issue"..

* This must be a training ground injury...or Sturridge isn't injured at all, and it's just a cover story to mask some other issue.

* 16-year old Ben Woodburn makes the bench, which is great for the youngster, and with any luck, he'll make his debut later this afternoon.

* Ovie Ejaria is also on the bench, but there's still no room for summer signing Marko Grujic.

This is a curious one: how can a 16-year old be better prepared for the bench than Grujic, who has much more experience, *and* is a full international?

If Grujic can't get in the matchday squad ahead of untested academy players, then that's a cause for concern.
