Future MegaDeal? 'World-class' €69m superstar hails 'Klopp'; confirms he's 'watched some Liverpool games'

Last summer, Liverpool were linked with Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski, and although that deal was always a non-starter, Lewandowski has revealed that he's tracking the Reds' progress this season.

Speaking to Goal this week, 'world-class' Lewandowski insisted that Liverpool can 'challenge for the title' this season, and admitted:

"I have watched some Liverpool games since the arrival of Klopp, and you can see that the players are enjoying playing for him".

The €69m-rated striker also outlined how Klopp is impacting Liverpool's players:

"He [Klopp] is like a father figure and, because of that, you have trust in him. It makes you totally open to his methods and his ideas which are for the benefit of your game."

Lewandowski is like Luis Suarez: tough, robust, and very rarely injured, which - if Liverpool were to sign him - would give him an immediate advantage over all of the Reds' current strikers.

Sadly, I think it's safe to say that this deal is never going to happen...unless, of course, Liverpool win the league this season, which will make Anfield a much a more attractive proposition.
