'Playing Poorly': Carra, Wijnaldum, Karius etc react to 'difficult' Liverpool win. Klopp confirms 'angry' reaction

After Saturday's 2-1 win over Swansea, Liverpool are up to the lofty heights of second place in the Premier League. Here is a selection of post-match reaction to another vital away win for the Reds.

Jamie Carragher

"More impressive result than Hull last week. Playing poorly, and one down at half-time, so a great turnaround and performance 2nd half"

Jurgen Klopp

"We were angry at half-time, but with ourselves, nobody else. We had to show we can do better because nobody could see why we were here".

Ray Clemence

"Excellent 2nd half performance and win against a spirited Swansea side"

Luis Garcia

"Keep on the good results. Reds with another three points on an away game".

James Milner

"In the first half, we weren’t really at the races. We gave ourselves all the work to do but showed a lot of character to come back".

Giorgino Wijnaldum

"We fought back in the second half. Another big three points. A massive thank you to all the fans for their support".

Loris Karius

"Difficult game today, but a very important victory! Thanks to our travelling fans".

Jordan Henderson

"Big three points! Well done Roberto and Milly on their goals. Fans were brilliant again".

Totally unrelated, but the current trend of feminising player names is irritating. Milly, Gini, Mama...ugh. Makes me think of Anakin Skywalker constantly being called 'Ani' in Star Wars Episode 1, and if there's one thing I hate, it's being reminded of the travesty that is The Phantom Menace ;-)
