Aldo insists: 'Brilliant' £34m Man Utd sensation will 'cause problems' for Liverpool. He's their 'best player'.

Who is Manchester United's best player? The obvious answer is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but according to Reds legend John Aldridge, Liverpool's biggest threat will come from United's most inexperienced attacker.

In his column for the Liverpool Echo this week, Aldo warned:

"They [United] have the attacking weapons to cause us some problems. Rashford is brilliant [and] he's arguably their best player".

Rashford has 5 goals/assists in 9 games this season, so on current form, he's clearly an effective option, but is he really Man Utd's 'best player' at the moment?

It's debatable. Juan Mata is is having a big influence on United this season, as is Ibrahimovic, and both players will inevitably cause problems for Liverpool next week.

Mata, in particular, seems to enjoy playing against Liverpool. The Spaniard has grabbed 9 goals/assists against the Reds in the last four completed seasons, and he's confident of continuing this hot streak. In his personal blog this week, Mata wrote:

"This is one of the greatest clashes of the season. I have been lucky to enjoy it in the past and we [Man Utd] are really looking forward to showing what we are capable of".

Man Utd have done the league double over Liverpool for the last two seasons, but with any luck, history will not repeat itself.
