Confirmed Team News (LFC/Chelsea): 6 players out; £34m star 'will play'; Klopp confirms bad news

Liverpool face Chelsea tomorrow in the Reds' first Friday night match of the season, and ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp and Antonio Conte have confirmed the injury status of several key players.

* Terry: According to a statement on Chelsea's official website: "John Terry’s injury suffered at Swansea is strained ligaments in his foot. He will be out for approximately 10 days".

* Luiz: In his pre-match press conference today, Conte told reporters: "David Luiz will play [vs. LFC] and we are confident about this. We expect him to play very well, with great attention. He has worked a lot on defensive situations. I'm confident for him".

* Lovren and Can: On Wednesday, Klopp confirmed: "The players who were involved in the last game are all ready again - plus Dejan. Not the others, for example Emre. He needs to train and that’s how it is".

* Sakho, Gomez, Ojo, and Van Ginkel (Chelsea) remain on the sidelines.

In a refreshing change from the norm, only four players are currently on Liverpool's injury list (Gomez, Ojo, Sakho, and Can), which is possibly the lowest number of ongoing injury issues since Jurgen Klopp's arrival.

I doubt this will last much longer, but fingers crossed (!)

* Luiz: Described as a 'warrior' by Thiago Silva. Cost Chelsea £34m
