Inside Info: Liverpool FC 'club source' confirms injury to £125k-a-week Liverpool 'superstar' is not a 'problem'

On Saturday, Reds fans were on tenterhooks after attacker Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane suffered a suspected knee injury whilst on international duty, but a an alleged club insider has moved to ease fears about a potential spell on the sidelines.

According to ESPN today:

"A club source has told ESPN...that Sadio Mane reported to Liverpool's training ground on Monday [with] no fitness or injury problems. [Mane] will be available for Leicester".

This is obviously good news, and it's the second time this season that Mane has quickly shrugged off an injury issue.

Mane's robustness and quick recovery time is a refreshing antidote to the long list of continual, long-term sicknotes who've spent months on the sidelines over the years.

In this respect, Mane - hailed this week as a potential 'superstar' by Danny Murphy - is very much like Luis Suarez, another exciting attacker who rarely gets injured and/or can take a battering and keep on playing.

Sod's law: Now that I've waxed lyrical about Mane's injury record, he'll probably sustain a long-term injury and be out for months ;-)

^ Reportedly on £125k-a-week.
