Anfield Blow: Disaster as £125k-a-week Liverpool 'superstar' suffers knee injury. Out of Leicester game?

Another day, another injury for Liverpool FC, and after suffering a recent shoulder injury, it looks like £34m signing Sadio Mane may be set for another spell on the sidelines.

According to Senagalese news outlet Galsenfoot:

* After sustaining an injury, Mane had to be subbed off in the 66th minute of Senegal's game with Namibia today.

* Mane allegedly suffered a 'knee' injury in first half, and was 'not well' in the second, prior to be subbed.

The good news is that Galsenfoot further claimed that Mane's removal was 'just a precaution', which is obviously good news, though how outside observers can know that just from TV images in anyone's guess.

At least one Liverpool player gets injured during every international break, and Mane's latest issue simply continues the trend. At least it's not Daniel Sturridge!

If Mane - hailed as a potential 'superstar' by Danny Murphy - is injured, then he has seven days of recovery time ahead to get fit for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Leicester City, but obviously, it all depends on the severity of the injury.

Finger's crossed that it's nothing serious.

^ Reportedly on £125k-a-week.
