Great News for Liverpool: Boss confirms 'Agent' transfer talks over 'incredible' £80k-a-week attacker.

Mario Balotelli may be persona non grata at Anfield, but he appears to be a wanted man in Serie A, with both Sampdoria and Crotone keen to secure his services this summer.

On Tuesday, Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero told Corriere dello Sport:

"He [Balotelli] could relaunch at a passionate club like ours. I've tried to tell him to come to Samp because he's a great talent."

A day later, Crotone's president Raffaele Vrenna revealed:

"I called his agent. We could be the right place to relaunch an incredible talent like Balotelli."

It's debatable whether Balotelli remains an 'incredible talent', but one thing's for sure: he definitely wants to leave Liverpool. When asked in April about his future, Balotelli admitted:

"I do not want to return to Liverpool. I was never happy at Liverpool".

After his recent Euro 2016 snub, Balotelli's career is in the toilet right now, and in my view, that's where he'll stay, as there's no incentive for him to work hard to rise up again.

Like with so many other footballers, hunger, desire, and competitive edge are dulled by being grossly overpaid from such a young age, and in many ways, Balotelli is a product of his avaricious, narcissistic (football) environment.

Balotelli is back on Merseyside right now, but the best thing for all concerned is to move him on ASAP.

^ Reportedly on £80k a week.
