Liverpool Alert: 'Outstanding' £75k-a-week international responds to LFC 'rumours'; confirms transfer decision is imminent

Martin Skrtel appears to be on the outs at Liverpool, and with Besiktas reportedly waiting in the wings to sign him, the 'outstanding' Slovakia captain has provided an update on his future plans.

Last month, Agent Mithat Halis claimed that Besiktas are desperate to sign Skrtel, and soon after, the Turkish club allegedly 'tabled a £7m offer' for the defender.

When asked this weekend about the possibility of leaving Liverpool, however, Skrtel told reporters:

"This [transfer] question has nothing to do with the [England] game tomorrow. I will answer that question after the Euros".

Skrtel also posted the following message on Instagram:

"There were lots of rumours going around about my future, so just to let you know there is nothing decided yet".

With Matip, Lovren, and Sakho at the club, it seems unlikely that Skrtel will remain at Anfield this summer; he's in the shop window right now, and if he continues to play well for Slovakia, it will help Liverpool get a decent transfer fee.

On a related note: I'm hoping and praying that Skrtel and Slovakia win tomorrow, as that - combined with a Wales victory - will hopefully lead to Engerland being eliminated from the competition, which can only be a good thing for the tournament (both on and off the pitch).
