Anfield-bound? Liverpool free to sign 'dazzling' €8m attacker if Klopp makes 'interesting'' offer. Pursue?

In April, Liverpool were linked with a summer move for Atletico Nacional starlet Marlos Moreno, and according to the club's President, the exciting attacker will be allowed to leave this summer...for the right price.

Liverpool reportedly remain interested in Moreno, and when asked on Monday about the 19-year old attacker's future, Juan Carlos de la Cuesta noted:

"The offer [from Sporting Lisbon] was not attractive, but if [an] interesting [offer], we will look at it. The [transfer] market is open, especially in Europe, and we are available to study everything".

Some info about Moreno, recently described as a 'dazzling talent':

* 19-year old right-winger, who can also play on the left, or as a centre-forward.

* 13 goals/assists in 22 games for Nacional (One every 118 minutes). Two appearances for the Colombia national team.

* Mar 2016: Full international debut against Bolivia. Created the winning goal in the last minute of the game.

* Mar 2016: Tim Vickery, the BBC's South American football expert, offered the following assessment: "Best young talent on the continent. Fluid movement, excellent one-v-one skill. Intelligent one-twos and ability to operate as part of a team. He [Moreno] has been exceptional".

* Apr 2016: Brazilian newspaper Lance claimed that Liverpool made an €8m offer.

* Apr 2016: A spokesman for Nacional insisted: "It would take an extraordinary offer [to sell Moreno]. If there is a good offer, we will consider it".

€8m seems like a reasonable fee for the (alleged) 'best young talent' in South America, but it's hardly an 'extraordinary' offer, and if Liverpool are serious about signing Moreno, the club will probably have to up its offer.

With only 18 senior games to his name, though, is Moreno worth much more than €8m? Obviously, he's worth whatever a club is willing to pay, but with Sheyi Ojo - who is also 18 - coming through the ranks, why not just make him a permanent member of the first-team squad, and save the money?
