I'm Leaving: 'Fantastic' Liverpool attacker confirms he wants to quit Anfield and 'join' Super Lig giants

After spending a year on loan at Swiss side FC Luzern, Liverpool striker Samed Yesil appears to be on his way out of Anfield for good this summer.

Yesil is reportedly 'close to agreeing a move to Trabzonspor', and his agent has 'met with Trabzonspor’s reps in Turkey'.

When asked on Saturday about a move to Trabzonsport, Yesil - hailed by LFC U21 boss Michael Beale for his 'fantastic' finishing - told Super Haber:

"I've been getting offers from Trabzonspor for four years. I want to join the club for their 50th year anniversary.”

In 2013, Yesil suffered two cruciate ligament injuries in one year, and you have to admire his mental strength in coming back from such a devastating double setback.

Laudable mental strength aside, there's clearly no room for Yesil at Anfield, so his best option is to follow Rossiter, Sinclair and (probably) Ward out the door this summer.

Yesil is a Trabzonspor fan, so all's well that ends well.
