Anfield-bound: After Klopp 'talks', Liverpool make €15m offer for 'amazing' attacker. Done deal this summer?

Last month, Udinese's Director of Football confirmed that Liverpool are keen to sign the allegedly 'amazing' attacker Piotr Zielinski, and new reports this week suggest that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has taken another concrete step towards sealing a deal.

Speaking in April to Italian radio station Radio Punto Zero Cristiano Giaretta confirmed:

"There is interest from Liverpool and it is concrete interest. He [Zielinski] is doing very well and has the eyes of the Premier League on him.”

On Tuesday evening, Gazetta Dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira claimed:

""Liverpool want to close Piotr Zielinski. Klopp has offered €15m to Udinese".

Recent Transfer Timeline:

Feb 2016: The Telegraph reported: "Liverpool tried to sign Piotr Zieliński in January. The Merseyside club will try to revive that deal this summer".

Feb 2016: Daily Mail claimed: "Liverpool [will] hold talks over the signing of Piotr Zielinski. Scouts have continued to monitor his progress".

Mar 2016: Zielinski told Futbolfejs: "Some people may think it [the Liverpool move] is only rumours but I know more about it. It would be great to play alongside Coutinho".

Apr 2016: Speaking to Polish media outlet Sportowe Fakty Zielinski further confirmed: “There is a lot of truth in rumours about Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp is interested in me, we've had some talks".

With 4 goals/6 assists in 34 games this season (goal every 738 mins. G/A every 295 mins), Zielinski's creative output is incredibly average, and I fail to see how he is an upgrade on any of Liverpool's current attacking players.

That said, Klopp has a history of making stars out of Polish players (Piszczek, Błaszczykowski, and Lewandowski, for example), so perhaps he can work the same magic on Zielinski...?
