Liverpool XI vs. BVB: £48m-duo out; Massive surprise as Klopp dumps 'exciting' attacker?

In less than 24 hours, Liverpool face Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League, and according to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, it looks increasingly like Roberto Firmino will miss the game.

Speaking to LFC.com today, Klopp noted:

"We are not sure about Roberto [Firmino]; he is for sure a big step ahead, but we are not sure about [playing] him on Thursday".

* On Lucas^: "He is back in training but was a long, long time [out]. He should not be an option for the game, unless we needed him for example, so he has to carry on training".

* On other injuries: "Nobody else is injured. We have the players we had last week and they didn’t play too bad against Tottenham, so let’s try again".

Benteke is definitely out, which means Sturridge will start, right? I'm not so sure. I have a feeling that Klopp will spring a major surprise and play Divock 'Kick and Rush' Origi ahead of 'exciting' striker Daniel Sturridge.

For me, it's no contest - I'd take half-fit Sturridge over Origi every day of the week, but Klopp may decide that Origi's speed and willingness to run are what's needed in an away game at Dortmund.

Klopp will probably pack the team with as many runners/pressers as possible, so I expect to see the following lineup:

-------------- Mignolet
Clyne ---- Lovren - Sakho ----- Moreno
------ Milner -- Can --- Hendo
--------- Lallana - Coutinho
--------------- Origi
