Agent Confirms: 'New Iniesta' flying to Liverpool on 'Saturday'. Talks held. Done deal in 2 weeks?

In November, Liverpool's Academy Director Alex Inglethorpe confirmed that the club planned to reduce the number of players in the club's youth system, but that new directive isn't deterring the Reds from scouring the globe for the best young talent.

Last month, Babawo Mohammed, the agent of Nigerian attacker Chidera Ejike, told allnigersoccer.com:

“I went to Liverpool and introduced Ejike to them and they gave us an invitation for two weeks trials. He is going to Liverpool next month for trials".

Mohammed also confirmed that midfielder Jacob Njoku will undergo a trial alongside Ejike:

"Njoku will travel to the United Kingdom next month along with Chidera Ejike for trials with Liverpool".

The trials appear to be going ahead, and according to Mohammed this week:

"We just received the visas. We will travel on Saturday to the UK, their trials with Liverpool will last for two weeks. Njoku and Ejike are ready for the trials".

The Daily Express further claims:

* Liverpool have monitored Njoku 'for some time'.

* If the trials are successful, both players will be loaned out whilst work permit issues are resolved.

Here's a goal from Njoku, who looks like he has decent pace:

Ejike is nicknamed the 'new Iniesta', but apart from that, there's very little information available about the duo.
