Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has named a strong side for tonight's historic Europa League clash with Manchester United, and the big news is that Sturridge, Coutinho, and Firmino start in the same team for only the fifth time this season
FULL TEAM: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge
SUBS: Ward, Toure, Benteke, Allen, Origi, Smith, Ojo
MAN UTD: De Gea, Varela, Smalling, Blind, Rojo, Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Memphis, Mata, Martial, Rashford.
* Coutinho replaces the virus-stricken Milner, and I doubt there are many fans who have a problem with that. Milner is in good creative form right now, though, and Coutinho will hopefully follow his lead.
* Nice to see Ojo - described on LFC's website as a 'nightmare for opposing defenders - rewarded with a place on the bench after his midweek hat-trick for the U21s. Smith also returns to the bench, which makes sense considering Flanagan's absence from the squad.
* Benteke drops to the bench after his match-winning penalty at the weekend, but when the competition is Daniel Sturridge, that's fair enough.
* Given the personnel, Klopp may go with a 4231 formation:

Clyne -- Lovren --- Sakho ---- Moreno
---------- Hendo -- Can
Lallana ---- Coutinho ---- Firmino
----------- Sturridge
That's arguably preferable to having a 4231 setup with Lallana dropping back into midfield.
