Late Team News: 'Exciting' Liverpool Academy star set for surprise debut against Sion

In his pre-match press conference, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed that he wants to beat FC Sion tonight and top the group, which almost certainly means he'll select a strong team for the game. Philippe Coutinho, and Emre Can seem certain to start the match, and it appears that one of the club's most promising young players is in line for his full debut.

According to the Liverpool Echo this afternoon:

"[Divock] Origi is expected to start up front tonight vs FC Sion. Brad Smith in contention to make his full debut at left-back".

After his impressive cameo - and inch-perfect assist - against Southampton, Smith arguably deserves to start tonight's game, as does Origi, who should not have been dropped against Newcastle (who drops a striker after scoring a hat-trick? Ridiculous).

Smiths' description on the official Liverpool FC website:

"Blessed with lightning pace. Solid defending with exciting forays forward. Ability to produce rampaging runs along the flank".

Smith recently signed a new deal after settling a 'contract dispute' with Liverpool.

According to The Telegraph:

"Smith failed to agree terms at Anfield last summer [but] Liverpool retained the player’s registration as Smith has been at the club since he was 14".

Lineup I'd like to see:

---------------- Bogdan
Randall --- Skrtel - Lovren ---- Smith
------------- Can --- Rossiter
---- Hendo -- Coutinho --- Origi
------------- Benteke
