I Want LFC: Prem Powerhouse confirms Klopp 'contact'; 'dreams' of playing for 'Liverpool'

In May, Liverpool handed Andre Wisdom a new 'long-term contract', and after signing the new deal, the 22-year old made it clear that he wanted to fight for his place in the team next season. Two months later, Brendan Rodgers shipped him out on loan to Norwich City, and as history shows, young players sent out on loan rarely return to become first team regulars at Anfield. Wisdom is determined to break that trend, though, and it appears that Jurgen Klopp is keeping a close eye on his development.

Prior to his loan move, Wisdom told LFC.com:

"The club are in my heart. This is one of the world's biggest football clubs and it's an honour to be a part of it. now I want to work hard and try to compete for places again."

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo today, 22-year Wisdom, revealed that he is 'in contact with the new manager' and revealed that he's discussed his future with Klopp:

"My future is definitely back at Liverpool because that is my dream. I’ve had a catch-up with him [Klopp], and he just said keep going, gain as much experience as you can, keep working hard and above all enjoy your football".

After starting the season stuck on the bench, 'versatile' Wisdom is now a regular at Norwich City, but he's going to find it hard to break in as a centre-back at Anfield.

With Sakho, Lovren, Skrtel, and Toure in the squad (plus Can if needed), Liverpool are well covered at centre-back, and Klopp will inevitably bring in his own central defender at some point.

Wisdom's best hope is to compete for a place at right/left back, a position which he played with distinction under Brendan Rodgers. That said, Conor Randall and Brad Smith appear to be ahead of him in the pecking order, and by the end of the season, one or both may be established in the team.

Does Wisdom have a future at Anfield?
