Done Deal: Prem wonderkid is now 'officially an LFC player'. Good deal...?

Liverpool FC's legion of talented youngsters continues to grow, with the West Brom starlet Yan Dhanda the latest addition the club's burgeoning academy.

An hour ago, the 14-year old tweeted:

"Officially a Liverpool FC player!

"It's the start of something new. Look forward to this season!"

Dhanda was snapoed up by Albion after impressing in an Asian Soccer Star talent competition and his performances have already caught worldwide attention on the internet.

FA coaches who have also called him up to attend a training camp with England U16s even though he is two years younger than most of the squad's players.

Danda earlier today after joining the club:

Danda joins fellow new addition Herbie Kane at Anfield, with Barcelona starlet Sergi Canos also expected to sign a deal with club sometime this month.

Alot of young talent coming in, but hopefully they knuckle down and fulfil there potential :)

  2. I wish luck to the lad and hope we will soon see the most talented star of the future coming out of Melwood and even better the La Masia lol ;) :D

  3. Another sign of one of the big clubs "poaching" players from lesser team's academies. How are the lesser teams expected to compete?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Yet another top kid, can't be a bad thing!!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. It does suck. But I'm sure West Brom are doing the same to championship sides and they're doing the same to sides below them. It's the circle of life.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Yawn, he could be a wash out by 19 and playing lower league football, this is not article worthy!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Good news. Now, lets hope we don't develop him into a good player and lose him, to another club. We really need champions league football, within 3 years, I can't see it though. Not when your net spend is £2 million.

    ReplyDelete
  8. And where did you see that our net spend was £2 million?

    ReplyDelete
  9. For now...How do you know that we're done in the transfer market? Do you have a connection into the dealings of the club? Nevermind the comments BR even said about bringing more players in...

    ReplyDelete
  10. Good news,
but the bad news is Dortmund have stated Mhitkaryan will be joining them, and James Pearce of the Echo confirms it. I felt it was another, Gaston Ramirez, Clint Dempsey deal, back to the drawing board.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Heard the same rubbish last year.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Rodgers even said himself that we'd be bringing in more players...what more do you need to hear?

    ReplyDelete
  13. liverpool4life5659:31 pm, July 05, 2013

Can we get rid of ayre ASAP.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Rodgers, isn't the issue. He is perfect for the club. Where is the marquee signing? Why do teams like spurs sign the paulinhos? If Liverpool sign a world class international, great, il take it back. But if they do that after selling suarez. I bet the owners will come out in profit this summer.

It's nice to see technical players being brought in and not just robotic workers. good stuff.

on another note it looks like we've done a Gareth Barry on Mkhitaryan. Did we fart about to much on price like we did with Barry and initially with Suarez or was the lad playing us....time will tell.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Believe me if we dont I'll be pissed too,but the window is only open 5 days yet,I see HK is seemingly going to BVB, if so we should get Eriksen,if we signed him I'd be delighted, time will tell

    ReplyDelete
  17. All the pussy he's now going to get

    ReplyDelete
  18. James Pearce from the Echo has said that Mkhitaryan's agent did not allow LFC to speak to the player.

What then did you expect Ayre to do? Holdx a gun against his head?

There has been no confirmation yet from BVB or Shakhtar so until such time no deal has been confirmed yet for the player. If he goes to BVB then so be it. How many of us knew about Mkhitaryan before we were linked with him?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I am quite happy that we never signed Barry.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The owners wont come out in a profit, the club will. Luis Suarez belongs to the club. He is an asset of the club. If FSG sold Suarez for 50 million and put that money in their pocket the club will run at a 50 million loss. Do you really think they are that daft?

Did you really want us to keep Carroll?

If we did keep Carroll then our net spend would have been about 15 million. Would you have been happy if we did not sell Carroll to have a bigger net spend?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would like to think Ayre is the man for the job but his performance so far doesn't suggest he is the right man. The Aspas deal too ran into hiccups with LFC talking to the wrong agent. And now the Mkhitaryan case. I sure hope Ayre knows what he is doing.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The Aspas deal did not run into hiccups. It was the media who blew the story out of proportion. Just some paperwork was changed for the Aspas deal to go through.

If the Aspas deal had run into hiccups then the deal would never have been announced before the transfer window opened.

  23. why get rid of air he can only do what is within his power, your beloved fsg sign the checks and state the amount another one bites the dust,i wonder which good player we will NOT sign next

    ReplyDelete
  24. we may well bring in another couple of young prospects for the future, for about 15million we may also sell suarez and pepe for 5million jobs a good en

    ReplyDelete
  25. we may well find out in the coming seasons

    ReplyDelete
  26. FSG do not state the amount. Please Jason, if you do not have the proper knowledge of how the transfer policy at Liverpool FC works then rather refrain from commenting about the way you think it works.

The way you think it works compared to the way our transfer policy actually works is millions of miles apart.

    ReplyDelete
  27. max please do not post me you and l4l565 think you know everything ,you both were harping on about us signing hk last week as if he was at anfield signing the contract ,so please do not try and tell me jack sh1te

    ReplyDelete
  28. You know nothing.

Mkhitaryan has still not been confirmed by Borussia Dortmund and neither have Shakhtar Donetsk confirmed that he has been sold.

You can go check with any reputable journalist and they will confirm that LFC want Mkhitaryan.

Please give us a detailed explanation of how Liverpool's current transfer policy works. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  29. hes going to germany ,last week you were saying that he was albut signed

    ReplyDelete
  30. No I did not say he was all but signed last week.

    Please try again.

    ReplyDelete
  31. there you go again telling someone else they are wrong you should write your own site and tell us everything as your never wrong ,it would save a lot of time with rumours ,because if you said it on your site the world would know it was right

    ReplyDelete
  32. Prove where I said that Mkhitaryan was signed last week by LFC.

Find the post, it is easy, click on my profile and it will bring up all my comments. Go look for the comment where I have stated what you claim.

Once again you do not know what you are talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  33. sorry m8 i got you mixe up with another one of 565,s cronies my mistake i hold my hands up and apologuise

    ReplyDelete
  34. What are you on about? I want the so called £20 million originally budgeted and the 22 million combined, received from Carroll and shelvey, reinvested into the first team. Do you want CLUB profit then! over a good squad? This isn't a business to us fans. Where is the gate, television and numerous large sponsorship money going to? Other clubs can invest In new players, without selling.

    ReplyDelete
  35. totally agree m8 some fans are more interested in fsg making money than the standard on the pitch, they saved the club and we should just shut up and be forever indebted to them

    ReplyDelete
  36. You like Jason have no idea of what running a football club entails.

All you can do is moan, FSG this, FSG that.

They are not making a profit off the club.

Please provide the proof for your statement about FSG or Liverpool making a profit.

If you cannot provide proof then clearly you have no clue what you are talking about.

Provide your facts or shut it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Don't get touchy. I bet you, the next major investment, will happen after the Suarez sale. If he doesn't go. The investment won't be major.lol. And the CLUB won't reinvest the full £40+ million.
The club gave every fan a big hint about where the money will be going a month ago, with the stadium announcement. But it shouldn't happen at the expense of a competitive first team.

    ReplyDelete
  38. You have no facts to back your claims.

If you do not have facts then why do you persist with talking BS?

  40. Its an opinion. Like most media based articles. Your telling me I can't have one? Where's your proof, that what im thinking, isn't correct?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Exactly, it is you opinion. Is your opinion the truth?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Is yours? Lol. You can't stop people having opinions. Its not a nanny state.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am not the one claiming that FSG are making a profit. They aren't.

if they were then the clubs accounts would not have shown a loss over the last two seasons.

I am talking facts here. Use google if you do not believe me.

Now provide me with the facts of where FSG are making a profit off the club.

    Not your opinion, provide FACTS.

    ReplyDelete
  44. In your OPINION. which your intitled to;). You don't actually know the truth, on this transfer.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Which transfer are you referring to?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think Max is Ayre in disguise or a fanatic fan of FSG! And pls Max dont ask me to prove it!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ok. I appologise, I didn't realise I was talking the clubs accountant. I will go and keep myself to myself.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I bet that is the one and only intelligent comment you will ever make on this site?

How did you know it was me?

    Regards

    Ian Ayre

    ReplyDelete
  49. Still no facts I see.

Your opinion is greatly appreciated even if it is not the truth. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  50. if max is ian ayre whats that make 565 lol

    ReplyDelete
  51. Any of them, are you Ian Ayre?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yes I am, I just made that clear in a couple of post down below...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Ok, thanks for letting me have an opinion. In the world of number crunchers. Not everything is black and white. But if your sources say it is. So be it sir.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ok can you get us a marquee signing then. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Which player would you like us to sign?

We have just fired both the scouts we got from Man City and have decided to give the job to you then you can have as many marquee signings as you like.

Don't go to overboard though as we might go bankrupt if all those marquee signings fail!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Whats the salary like? As for failing marquee signings, what piece of business, that the club have done over the past couple of years, makes you think that will happen? Lol. The club is in better hands now, no doubt, Rodgers is also the right choice, i personally keep going back to spurs and have used this paulinho, deal as an example. They have to be in a similar financial situation? I'm holding hope we can have a similar status of player arriving soon. Preferably keeping Suarez also.(doubtfull)

    ReplyDelete
  57. What European clubs has Paulinho played for. Has he ever played in Europe?

£17 million is a massive gamble. If he was 20yrs old then maybe worth taking a gamble. Will he be allowed time to settle at the age of 24 in a completely different environment to the one he is used to? If he flops then who will Spurs sell him to? Back to Corinthians at a cut price?

    ReplyDelete
  58. He's 24. Not 29. What about Neymar? Are Barca thinking that way?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Neymar is 21. He has more than enough time to settle at Barcelona and will be in a team with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta etc...

    Spot the difference?

    ReplyDelete
  60. What 3 years in age? Is that your argument?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Not my only argument. Read my whole post again.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Anyway did i say it had to be a south American? Eriksen would be great.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Dortmund also had interested in Eriksen and have yet to make a move for him.

If the deal for Mkhitaryan was not as complex as it has been then he would have already signed on the dotted line.

It is easy for us as fans to say the club is not making an effort to sign players or have a lack of ambition by not going for marquee singings. It is easy for you to say Eriksen would be great. Why has no other big club signed him yet?

    ReplyDelete
  64. I have now you've added to it!;)
Still not an argument. Many south Americans have and do play in England. Alot coming directly from south America. What about just signing a top player? You're trying to drift away from my original argument again.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Just in case you never saw this reply...

Dortmund also had interested in Eriksen and have yet to make a move for him.

    ReplyDelete
  66. You tell me Ian;) Get it done. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Exactly. You do not know why no other big clubs have decided not to sign Eriksen yet.

Transfer deals are easy I tell you! We will sign every player we are linked with from now on and I literally mean every player! :-o

We also will not sell players anymore just to appease the fans in order to have a massive net spend. That way we can also have up to 100 1st team players to chose from.

Sounds like a good idea to me...Oh dear...

He says same for me. But never proves it. Haha he like a broken record... :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Going off subject again, your good at that. What has got to happen is reinvestment. Sell players, then use the money to buy others, while also investing money, from the transfer kitty. Its boring now. No one has said keep players. Where are you going with it now? Just got to get it done.

    ReplyDelete
  73. liverpool4life5651:16 pm, July 06, 2013

If you wanna know where that all goes I can show you a article, about our last financial year which shows FSG PUT in a extra 49 million to make our financial loss go down.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Where am i going of the subject?

    ReplyDelete
  76. FSG are spending money.

You are just to focussed on this:
Players bought minus players sold = Net spend.

    Net spend is irrelevant.

We have added 4 players so far that have cost the club +- 30 million. We did all of thsi before even selling anyone.

We let go of Carroll as we did not need him.

We got rid of Shelvey who was surplus to requirements.

The window is only six days old. BR said that he would like to add another attacking midfielder and defender. What more do you want?

    ReplyDelete
  77. 30 million? The transfers in were all confirmed after Carroll was sold. You should know!

    ReplyDelete
  78. J, I thought LFC doesn't spend any money... so why would they be signing checks?

    ReplyDelete
  79. every one spends some money

    ReplyDelete
  80. and i said sorry to max because i was wrong about him

    ReplyDelete
  81. Big Bepe Malone4:49 pm, July 06, 2013

I'm not interested in Marquee signings, they often fail to deliver. Veron, Berbatov, Shevchenko, Carroll, Torres (at Chavski) etc etc. All a waste of money. All of our greats over the years were unheard of before we signed them. Hanson, Rush, Aldridge, Souness etc all bought from smaller clubs and were relatively unknown to anyone apart from fans of their respective clubs.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Yeah great idea!!!........

    ReplyDelete
  83. be good for some one

    ReplyDelete
  84. Fair enough. I could name more sucessfull signings than failed. I agree with the fact there isn't enough chances given to the lower league players. If you use rush as an example. There must be some gems out there? They'd go to the mancs though, nowadays.

    ReplyDelete
  85. It is not less but we don't need marquee signings to take the club to the top but just the right players. You know Dortmund? What their model was? That's what Rodgers is trying to bring here so have patience. I know you might be among the fans who might get on BR & FSG if the marquee signing fails to live up to its price tag, right?

    ReplyDelete
  86. I have just read it. Didn`t see the fsg putting in 50 million bit, it mentions club profit within the next season or so. Is this what the main aim is? Isnt it going from one extreme to the other? It will be great having a profitable mid table side.

    ReplyDelete
  87. No i would definetley not do that. It would show me they mean to push into the top 4. Show me intent to improve the team by buying more than just hit or miss promising players. If they spent 15 million on allen, who is under the got promise cartegory, why cant the club spend £20+ million on a proven international?

    ReplyDelete
  88. liverpool4life56512:17 am, July 07, 2013

It was under "conclusion" part and sorry my mistake it was 46 million. Every club should break even because of the FFP. Also there rebuilding liverpool slowly because of the rule...

    ReplyDelete
  89. This Kid looks like a real player.
Welcome to the Liverpool family Yan Dhanda!!!

    ReplyDelete
  90. But you see we need the right players and they have already paid over the top for players like Allen and then they don't want to be ripped off.

    ReplyDelete
  91. we'll see if Liverpool can be the first premiership team to play a British Asian kid, seeing how we've been here for 50 years and still not one of us have been given a chance, not just another token gesture pick and then 5 years down the line he's told he's not good enough because he maybe too small.
