Macca blasts: Don't blame Kenny - LFC's players 'let him down'. True?

Liverpool slumped to their seventh league defeat in eleven games against Wigan yesterday, and increasingly beleaguered manager Kenny Dalglish seems incapable of turning things around. The buck ultimately stopes with the manager, but former Liverpool defender Jason McAteer has dismissed the suggestion that Dalglish was to blame for the losst, and he's placed the blame squarely on the shoulders of the club's players.

Summarising the game for LFC TV, McAteer - who described yesterday's home defeat as a 'bad day at the office' - insisted:

"The players have let themselves down today. I don't think it has anything to do with the manager; He picked a strong team, and the players just let him down.

"There was nothing great about the performance at all. There didn't seem to be a gameplan today; it was just a mish-mash - they ran out of ideas, and the team didn't gel at all.

"There was a real lack of fluiduty. You wanted them to up the tempo and go for the jugular but they just failed to do that. There was a lack of movement, lack of creativity and a lack of confidence in the team, and when you don't create chances and get beat, that's a bit of a worry".

As with any team, the manager is ultimately responsible, but I agree that the players let him down; and it's not the first time this season either. When your players can't consistently complete the most rudimentary tasks required of a professional footballer, you know there's a problem.

This season, Liverpool's grossly under-performing players have regularly failed to:

* Finish the simplest chances (9% conversion rate)
* Cross the ball accurately (20% crossing accuracy)
* Pass the ball accurately (42% passing accuracy)
* Beat the first man with corners.
* Score from the penalty spot.
* Show pride and leadership on the field.

Dalglish has a lot to answer for but the players are equally to blame.

Nonsense. The players let themselves down because half of this team is not good enough.

  2. RUBBISH.  KD HAS TO TAKE THE BLAME, CLUELESS.  I COULD GRIND OUT RESULTS WITH THE TEAM AND RESOURCES BUT I WOULD LEAVE THIS TO EITHER O'NEILL OR BETTER STILL MUORINHO

  3. If the players are underachieving it suggests the management team lack the credibility and authority needed to push these slackers to their limits ie the dressing room has been lost. The so called Spice Boys of which McMannaman was one totally undermined Roy Evans

  5. Players for me, most of them are internationals... kuyt and Carra shuldnt be playing, out with the old in with the young and new, sterling, coates, morgan to name a few, think Kenny is realising that now

  6. Our problem is KD. I have seen managers come and go from different clubs within and outside England but I have never seen a new manager bringing 8-9 new first team players in his first 1 year in charge. Kenny went too far in trying to stamp his authority on the team. I am sure if he is giving another season, then surely Kuyt, Maxi and Aurelio will leave and then the only Rafa's signing will remain Reina, Skartel, Lucas and Agger. He might even sell Agger and tell us that he is prone to injuries.

Kuyt was on fire between Jan-May last season with 15 goals or so. same as Maxi with 2 hat-ricks in 3 games and Meireless. What did Kenny do? he replaced them with the Likes of Henderson, Downing, Adam and also loaned/sold out Aqua man. Mr. Invisible(Henderson) we were told was bought for the future yet he starts every game week in week out while Kuyt and Maxi remains on the bench.

We were told they are buying British because they already have experience of the EPL yet Suarez who came from eradivise took to stage right from his debut. even Coates would have done same if he has had enough playing time and for once Kenny has never admitted that he made mistakes or that his players are not up to Liverpool standard. Imagine telling us that the players were tired when we are not even in Europe and he has been going on and on from the start of the season that we have a better squad now than last year. after spending 114 million pounds, he still does not have enough players to play 3 matches in 9 days. Carrol played less than 10 mins against QPR yet he didn't start against Wigan. How about Jonjo the man who scored 6 goals in 10 games on loan with Blackpool and was recalled only to sit him on the bench.

  7. After the
today’s defeat the team emits an SOS signal to John W. Henry, Thomas Werner,
Ian Ayre, and Damien Comolli.  The fourth
of them can no longer be watching impassively the struggling humiliation of one
of the most historic teams and do nothing!
We all pay tribute to Kenny Dalglish and we classify him in our memories
and hearts as a real legend but that doesn’t necessarily mean we should keep
him as LFC’s manager from the moment we observe that under him we do not see
the light of hope for recovery at the end of the tunnel.  This is a responsibility and meditation time
for all of us.  The emotional factor
should be waived and with the only protractor which should be the best interest
of our beloved team we ask the four to ask kindly Kenny Dalglish for the sake
of the team to step down as LFC’s manager!

Another dark day of absolute humiliation and embarrassement by Kenny
Dalglish and his squad, the squad he has personally chosen and set up for the
current season. Kenny Dalglish and his squad tarnish the heritage that Bill
Shankly and Bob Paisley left for this historic club. Kenny Dalglish and his
squad are committing the biggest crime in this club's history by molesting on
this heritage. Everybody is feeling fed up by listening and reading all the
time different irrational statements by the side of Kenny Dalglish as he can
persuade first and above all himself that under him the team is progressing!
Everytime he leads this team to another humiliating and embarrassing defeat he needs
to realize that he places a gravestone to LFC fans' dreams and expectations in
all over the world to see their beloved team returning back to where it really
deserves to be! I personally can't explain it otherwise; Kenny Dalglish is on a
denial stage! He doesn't realize that by not seeing the raw reality, that he is
not a capable manager for the modernized football and the manager who can turn
the fortunes of this club around and as long as he behaves in a selfish manner
he causes a serious damage! Back in 1991 he stepped down as LFC manager in a
period which that was unnecessary and now that it is imperative to do so, why
doesn't him? ISN'T THAT A REAL PROOF OF A SELFISH, EGOISTIC, AND ARROGANT
    BEHAVIOR?

  11. KK has himself to blame, what was the set up for yesterdays cock up.Wy did he play with one up front at home against Wigan? why does he persist whith the hapless Henderson?why play Kuyt on the left? why was Downing on the right?why was Carrol in the bench? why is Maxi not getting a sniff? Is kk getting rid of players he did not sign?if so he is being to quick ,to much to soon.

    ReplyDelete
  12. KD is not to blame, not anymore than his predecessors, there is something inherently wrong with Liverpool that no manager can seem to find a fix for, I believe it's the fans feelings towards the team, the expectation is too much for them or it's because the fans stand by them no matter what, like any human being, keep telling them are doing a good job and they will believe you, making them think they are untouchable is a disaster, this is the reason for Sir Scum at the Old Toilet having success, he won't take crap from players, sadly, KD and previous managers cannot treat their players the same, even though they deserve it.
Let's be honest, a lot of the players KD has bought have turned out to be money mercenaries, there is no passion in what they do, Liverpool is just another notch in their careers, the club means nothing to them, Andy Carroll is the most apparent of all of them, but Adam, Henderson are the same, Suarez is not like that because he is just the kind of guy to give his all, as is Kuyt. But when you see the likes of Carroll just not putting the effort in, you may end up thinking is it worth your bother when your main striker cannot be bothered, what point is there making a run or excellent pass when the likes of Carroll will half heartedly try to do something?
The one lingering weakness in this team is not having a creative midfielder, when was the last time you saw a Zola, Bergkamp, Van Der Vaart, play for Liverpool, the closest we came was with Alonso and Aquaman, to a lesser degree, Joe Cole could have given us that if he was played in the right position, there is no one to provide defence splitting passes, to go on mazy dribbles into the box, to offer some unpredictable football, Liverpool are again predictable and do not have any ideas on how to break down a defence, this is why Scholes was bought back to MU, the scum were having the same problem, and Scholes is a crappier version on Iniesta, but at least Lord Scumbag noticed what was needed, I just wish Liverpool would hurry up and recognise it as well.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I've said it before and I say it again, the technical level of the players is awful.  Suarez is catching Kuyt's disease by just toe poking it to opposition players whilst under no pressure. I have no idea what they are doing in training but it's obviously failing. Players or the coaching teams fault? I dunno, but i suggest that players are given the next 8 league games to show why they should be at Anfield next season. Oh and Kenny, stop using excuses after bad performances. You don't have to berate the players in public but you can say 'we were not good enough'.

our performances are shameful and embarassing and i can see us losing more games before the season ends.

  22. I am not happy with many of the draws and losses this season the league position does not lie but the logic of the current transfer policy at the start of season cannot be faulted. Adam, Downing, Henderson were all players young player of the season of their respective clubs, the clamour to get Adam in particular by the majority should not be forgotten. They were meant to bed in quickly and hit the ground running, unfortunately it didn't happen. When Carroll was bullying defences and scoring for Newcastle who could not see the benefit of having him in the team? These recent additions replaced those who truly were dross and have improved upon them.
The line between Success and failure, a title challenge, champions league and Europa is a crossbar/post. It could easily have been so different this season but was not, it's been terrible right? Playing attractive football,  good reserve players now established in the first team with more to come through in the not too distant future. Already a cup wining season, maybe a double, let's not be so quick to disregard the progress that is being made.

They criticised the players big time

They also compare our midfield of a few years back, two of whom are with the current top two sides in the world, Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard to Spearing, Adam and Gerrard and questioned how the club ever let this happen

I'll tell you who is to blame - Hicks and Gillet. Club almost went bust altogether, we had a miraclulous escape

Maybe Moores is even more to blame for selling to those snake oil salesmen

AVB got rounded on for not giving the senior players at Chelsea the love
and tenderness Kenny is now giving to our players.  How in the world
are our situations similar??? Kenny is constatly trying to involve Liverpool's senior players hence Shelvey, Sterling, Coates and the rest of our young lads not getting a game.

Have the Liverpool players been playing rubbish because Kenny has made the atmosphere around Melwood more relaxed than it has been for 10 years.....do the players hate calm?  Interesting.  Are the players revolting because they have possibly the nicest manager we have had for 10 years?  NO.  The players are doing so badly because the old days of just playing 5 a sides in training are over! the game has moved on.  Tactical awareness and the ability to make subtle changes in a match to snuff out danger or to attack weakness in the opposition without necessarily changing the formation of the side and disjointing the team are a must.

For a start, telling SG to stop trying to force one-twos would be a start.  He constantly gives the ball away by trying to force an impossible one-two any time he gets near the oppositions box.  He then precedes to jog back.  If he were playing off the striker or wide this would be fine but Gerrard leaves gaping holes and asks far too much of his fellow central midfield partner.  But Kenny can't see this.........

Maybe Kenny could try asking SD and JH to make runs of off the ball?

Maybe Kenny can ask Carroll to stop pulling wide and concentrate his efforts solely on out witting his apposing center half.

Maybe Kenny could have signed real wide men if he wanted to get the best out of Carroll.  In Gutierrez Newcastle have a wide player who is superior to anything we have on our books.  He is direct, scores goals occasionally and his mission statement during matches when Carroll was at Newcastle was to find him.  Who else in our team is capable of doing this?

The truth is Kenny has created such a cosy vacuum at Melwood where he supports everyone and everything...even racism.  The players love him like a father but Kenny along with Keen and Clarke have bought badly and prepared the team inadequately.

You sound very much like r*d4****.  If you are...hows it going? ;-)
Yesterday you posted saying it is Kenny's fault, and you were right.  Now your back Rafa bashing and defending Kenny and his pampered players.

    Make a decision......

  34. Yesterday i said that probably the only way for the Club to move forward would be if Kenny goes....which i also said i could see happening.....

My p.o.v. is as stated above....the players have let the manager down...certain players that is....intentionally....but Kenny has allowed it to happen.......therefore he is like the article suggest as much to blame....wehether it is beyond his control or not....

He is the manager.....and like Roy and Rafa should be accountable BUT for sure we have a clique of players who should also be accountable for not doing the rudimentaries or fundamentals of being a professional footballer at this level......

IF Reina is letting them in...in order to de stabilise the managers position....along with other players who have been conspiring to do the same....then we have a BIG problem......

Blaming Kenny for THAT is not right, we can blame Kenny for other stuff.....he has made mistakes.....no doubt about that....his handling of the Suarez Evra affair was diabolical.....and cringeworthy....etc so thats keep some perspective....thats all im saying, Kenny does not deserved to be blamed for all our woes IMO ther are for sure other factors at play, dark forces you could say.....

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thats just comical tbh, i recall a certain Roy Hodgson calling out certain players and trying to keep it real...AND he was heavily abused and ridiculed for not understanding the Liverpool Way of doing things................

Damned if he does.....Damned if he doesn't..........

    ReplyDelete
  36. the stuff you come out with is amazing - you are probably the only fan out there who believes there is an intentional ploy amongst players to perform badly in order to out the manager - that argument has no credibility unless you are hiding in the locker room overhearing them when they talk about it.

can you offer any form of evidence except for your own subjective interpretation of what you are observing?

    ReplyDelete
  37. well i guess kenny does need a scapegoat... we blamed rafa for everything else so why not pin everything on him now! That evil tactical genius!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Observation is basically w3hat we ALL base our precious opinions on......yourself included, without that observation there would be no opinion, naturally 2 people can observe the same incident and come away with differing opinions as to what REALY happened, hence the forum......

This is NOT a court of law....there is no evidence other than observation, the proof as i have stated before is there for all to see, opinions are changing on players like Reina....why? Because peoples OBSERVATIONS of him playing recently expose the fact that he has been clearly going AWOL.......

Suarez has for the best part of the season, settled into a pattern of poor first halfs where he literally gives up posession of the ball, hasn't linked up with other players, hasn't created many chances for himself or anyone else and consequently our build up play and hard TEAM work falls flat opn itself, THAT is demotivating for a TEAM.....players start to lose confidence and our opponents have obviously capitalised ESP when we have REINA in goal letting them in for fun........

Been watching the same shite ALL season and it is clear as day to me what is going on, and im sure im not the only one who thinks that either......

Its nothing knew though because torres was doing the same thing that Suarez has been doing....6 months before the Club finally decided that it was an unworkable situation for the Club, potentially de-stabilising....Roy was giving the axe also, which i think is what will happen to Kenny ESP after his mishandling of the Suarez Evra affair....which btw i blame Suarez for as much as i do Kenny.....

Its looking more like theres serious disharmony in the dressing room , players looking uninterested, lack of fight for the shirt and for kenny , too many big name players just going through the motions etc ,

I refuse to believe that kenny sends them out to put in such abject performances like what we witnessed yesterday  - thats just not in him ,

theres a malignancy in the dressing room somewhere thats undermining kenny, the players and the club  - doesnt have to be a certain player(s) maybe its too many new signings all with a different footballing philosophy behind them , maybe too many believe they can rest on their laurels after the cup win. Perhaps the Suarez affair has wrought more damage to the team than we would like to imagine .

whatever the problem is  - theres no way kenny should shoulder all the blame , he's too much of an old campaigner to have the team performing this badly .

Theres something really really wrong in and around that dressing room .

just my opinion and it aint worth jack !

  40. Wilson Michaelpaul7:32 pm, March 25, 2012

Dark forces at work indeed , I cant go as far as saying certain players are deliberatley playing badly to sabotage KD  - but there is defo something seriously wrong in that dressing room thats as far removed from the boot room philosophy as you can possibly get. as for suarez the support he was given and the way he hung kenny out to dry at OT he should be running through brick walls for the shirt and dragging the rest of the team into the fight a la stevie G in 2005.

  42. Theycallmemrburt7:50 pm, March 25, 2012

I agree, it is very easy to observe poor play. However, observing a players motivations for not playing well are harder to detect.  i.e. Can I call Carroll a KKK member because he refuses to pass to a black player in the side? probably not.  Can I insinuate it is due to racism if a white cloak and pointy hat are found in his basement with the words "Klan till I die" on it? Possibly.  without there being at least some smoke from which you can start your fire you walking on very shaky ground.   To y knowledge there are no reports of players trying to take Kenny down because they love the guy.  AVB's players openly hated him.

I'm afraid our slump is similar to Sunderland under bruce.  They needed a different approach and a higher level of organization.  This doesn't mean Bruce is a bad manager it just meant he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  The same can be applied to Kenny.

Wake up........ at this stage of the season excuses go out of the window and facts/figures do all of the talking. You cannot use the cups as an excuse of our very poor league form. We do not wanna be another cup side and by now another manager would have been in the firing line. Stupid and loserpool fans like u have been letting the players get away with murder and destroying the reputation of lfc. 46. The differnce between us and Chelsea is that we IMO have kept our "problems" behind closed doors.....the Liverpool Way.....

Doesn't mean that it isn't happening though........

I could be wrong, i could be as you say on shaky ground, but i don't think so, i wouldn't post if i had enough doubts.....but i don't and that is because there has been a pattern of play all season with said players repeating said "crimes"...

We can all accept the odd blip in form of players etc, we can also accept occasional defeats against lesser opposition....but when a pattern forms....then surely we have to look at the possibility that things are not quite as they seem?

I mean, i could be arguing that i think Kenny has lost the dressing room and that the players have lost confidence in him.....

If i was to say that, and that alone, then im sure quite a few people might accept my p.o.v. as being a valid one....the team has at times all too often this season and of late esp...looked to be demotivated....

Only difference is that i am instead of attacking or blaming Kenny and his shit brit buys...i am throwing the spotlight on a few players who seem to be getting off scot free in all this.....yet they are arguably more at fault than the "shit brits" or even Kenny himself....

IMO they deserve to be exposed, just as Kenny does for his part in this fiasco of a season.....

I think FSG know what is happening....and i think they will surprise quite a few people with how they deal with troublemakers at the Club.....

Certain players have gone crap far too suddenly, although Reina has been rubbish for sometime and I'm astonished that fans and media are not getting on his back like what happened to De Gea. If Reina wanted to go when Benitez went then he should have pissed off and at least now we would have had a Goalkeeper, honestly I'm disgusted just thinking that in this world people like Reina wear OUR  badge and dont't care about the club reputation and honour. Whoever don't care for LFC should join another club , they only here for fame and wages.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well they might not be Rafa Rebels, but as Liverpool Luck would have it, the players Mali mentioned are just plain and simple CRAP (and Carragher legs have expired now). Adam, Hendo, Downing, Carroll were never good enough to join the club and you know what? They never will be. One test is offering them half price to any top 8 club................................. well I suppose we could pay THEM to take these players of our hands.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Every player that Wigan used against Liverpool on Saturday cost £18.1 million. That's less than any of SUarez, Downing and Carroll, and only 2 million more than Jordan Henderson. The entire matchday squad for Liverpool cost over £120 million pounds.
Newcastle have built an entire team for £5 million LESS than Andy Carroll.
And you say that the transfer policy can't be faulted?!!? I thought FSG were about value in the transfer market? Why do we have so many delusions fans?

  59. Hicks and Gillete defintely to blame, but Commoli and Daglish haven't helped with the players they've bought.

  60. And only 2 of those awards have come in the 21st century...

  61. Don't blame Dalglish coz he's a legend and he's bigger than the club. You must support him even if we're losing games coz he's a legend. You can even blame the schedule, the pitch, the owner or even his wife but not him.

  62. i wouldn't play them in FM, Fifa I'm surprised anyone put them on the field in the real life in one team

    ReplyDelete
  63. If we were to sell all of them except carra, cause undoubtedly he would go for free from what we spent on them we would be very very lucky to get half on downer, hendoo, adam a 1/3 of carroll or even less the truth is as brutal as that, bad investment even bigger losses

  64. I'm seriously afraid their waiting until we fall to the 9th position in the league and get knocked out of F.A. cup so they will take action, i guess because there is a lot of them fans, them true fans not the fickle ones like us who still shout DALGLISH during the games.

    ReplyDelete
  65. yep because when kenny does wrong, no one is to blame at least in his mind, he should look in the mirror once or twice because the problems start there

  66. You are a loser if u have no ambition in life and happy to just get by. It waz a matter of speech. Just because i have a winning mentality and have standards that does not mean im not real fan. People like u are taking the club down and we have became a laughing stock. Learn to take critcism and face facts we are loserpool at the moment. True fans are also the ones who except when they're team are not doing well, demand more from the players and dont live in a fish bowl. Kenny is a true legend but that waz all in the past, so wake up snd smell the coffee.

When Torres left we had a mole in the dressing room who leaked that Torres wasn't exactly the most sociable.  Kenny was at the club.  Not exactly the 'Liverpool way' is it?  My point is when players are pissed off a journalist 'friend' usually hears about it.

Kenny has to be blamed, he has got the chemistry of his squad all wrong.

He needed pace and craft, he signed slow rubbish.

    Where is our outlet?

  69. oh well, i guess thats the difference between us, i dont have my head so far up my arse thinking i could do better, because clearly being a Premier League Manager is such a simple job...  i guess im more of a realist than you.  so im just wondering, by your reasoning, we be better off with Roy Hodgson???

    ReplyDelete
  70. All out of date, though.

If Kenny will do for you? I assume you blame the players? Who bought them?

Mcateer is another Dalglish apologist who is getting involved in the propoganda war to keep Kenny in post, at the cost of the club as a whole.

  71. Yes, we've been predictable for years and this has been due to the type of managers we have appointed.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Well, we probably would do better with Roberto Martinez, after his poor team came to our ground and took all the points. You are saying nothing other than slating people. The performances are dreadful, Wigan are an extremely poor team. At what point, in your opinion, does a manager have to take responsibility?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yes, you are right. Its worrying, the number of people who cannot see how poor this team has become.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Nonsense, this is the worst team we have had for some time and a lot of our star players are either coming to the end of their careers or are out of form and looking like they want out. There are serious problems here. There are a host of teams lining up to overtake us in the next 12 months, if we continue on this path, and yet some supporters cannot see this and insist that everything is improving and we are on the way up? Way up from where? League 2? The only way we could be on the way up with Swansea 3 points behind us if we just got promoted this season. Can't you see that? At the clubs current rate of 'improvement', where does that leave Swansea and us next year, if we spend poorly again and they spend well?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Spot on again!

We cannot be where we are in the league without something having gone wrong. Poor performances are due to poor transfers or poor coaching. The manager is responsible either way, it remains to be seen how responsible each player is for this.

The defence seems to ok and we seem to have cover, although Enrique will play even after he goes to the grave, i think. But sell Reina and find a decent keeper at half the price, there are plenty of good keepers out there.

But the midfield is where the club has got in a real mess, in my opinion, and where so much money has been wasted. To have spent 45 million on Adam, Henderson and Downing and removed Aquilani and Meireles is shocking. Keep those two, and return the potential 18 recouped and use the 25 odd million to buy a couple of wide men. Problem solved. Carroll and Suarez haven't been world beaters but if we had a creative midfield, they would have scored more than they have. The likes of Shelvey should not have been shunted down the order for Adam or Henderson. Joe Cole was playing better than Henderson last season. Two decent wide men, with Lucas, Spearing, Gerrard, Maxi, Aquilani, Meireles, all contesting the central positions would have been fine. Bringing in Adam and Henderson was pointless and wasteful. Moving on established internationals, three of them, to bring in Adam and Henderson to play in their positions is just mental.

  76. Alien probes. That is what is to blame.

    ReplyDelete
  77. So why are their performances so rubbish?

If these players look like they were busting a gut, then your theory might make sense, but, whether i like the guy or not, no one can tell me that Henderson is putting in more effort than Suarez on the pitch.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yes, if i was Doni I would be getting the message that I am never going to play unless Reina is injured, possibly dead. Coates should be starting now, as Carragher and Skrtel clearly are not working. Henderson and Adam are not doing it for Kenny, so should not play anymore this season in the league. Spearing can warm Lucas' position, Shelvey and Maxi should be competing for the spot alongside Gerrard. Suarez and Bellamy should be playing and the last spot in attack going to Sterling, with Kuyt, Carroll and Downing on the bench. Players like Coady should be getting league starts now, so we can see how far they have to go if they are not ready yet.

    ReplyDelete
  79. exactly - the manager bought the squad he wanted, is responsible for training, improving, motivating and selecting the appropriate players from his squad. The players can let themselves down for a game or two, but over a whole season the manager has to be geld accountable.

  80. Where has the passion of pulling on that famous red shirt gone?. You can talk about new arrivals needing time to settle into a new team, how long do they need?,most of these new signings are not worthy of wearing that shirt in the first place. To say these players are tired after playing 3 games in six days is a joke!,I say give some of the young guys a few games, what have we got to lose at this point,at least they might show some of that passion that is so obviously lacking and even if we lose games I'm sure they would give a better performance than our 100m+ new arrivals. With the exception of Suarez none of these other new signings should even be running out at Anfield,we need CHANGE!!! and someone who can hit the back of the net on a regular basis!

  81. wow, and all of the geniuses come out to play... once again i will refer you to the original comment made... oh, its been removed, i guess people dont like reading the truth...  so tell me, have you heard back from the club about your application for the managers position... i hear you CV is pretty impressive...
