AGENT: €15m wing star "wants to play in England". Should LFC bid...?

The Agent of Juventus winger Milos Krasic agent has reiterated that he wants to leave the club in the January transfer window.

Krasic has been linked with a whole host of clubs over the last couple of weeks, and as usual, Liverpool's name has been in the mix. Kenny Dalglish's team could definitely do with another winger, but whether the interest is genuine remains to be seen.

It does appear though that Krasic would prefer a move to the Premier League, as his Agent Vlado Borozan told Il Corriere dello Sport yesterday:

"Milos wants to change teams, but only for a top club, possibly to go to England".

Lazio have made a bid for the Serbian International but Borozan dismissed the possibility out of hand:

"With all due respect for Lazio, this is a team not in the thoughts of Milos"

Krasic has been on the bench for four of the last five Juventus games, so he's clearly not part of the manager's plans.

The question is, does he feel that Liverpool is a 'top club', and if so, should Kenny try and sign him?

  1. im not sure, seen him play before and looked okay, think it was agianst united. think hes a bit to light weight, and in italy you get more time on the ball. id rather we spent a bit more and try get adam johnson

  2. I like Krasic a lot.He is my compatriot,I watched him and know what he can offer.Hes style is close to Joaquin or Lennon I'd say, hugs the line, not much dribling but very fast with the ball and have resonable end product.Think he fit very well in 442.Probably he'd come good when he adapt, lets say next season, but also can make imidiate impact because of his lucidity. For price around 10mil,it could be good buy,we can get useful team player for 3-4 seasons.Anyway, waiting him to come to Pl,maybe he ends with Chelsea where he has Ivanovic on the right like in national team, but I'd like to see him in red:)

  3. Save the money. Put it towards Eden Hazard.

  4. Shouldn't the question be, does Liverpool feel he is a top player? Doesn't look like he'd offer LFC anything our current players don't.

  5. Rafa wanted him before he went to Juve as did Utd, but i dnt think both clubs feel the same way about him now, but if he was offered to us under 10 mill its worth the shot, he looked great in Russia cnt be any worse then Hendo or Downing

  6. The case with Krasic in Juve is that he actually played two seasons in a row, because of timing in Russia and Italy leagues. He came in january in Juve and was their best player that season. Then came injury probably of tiredness. He and his wife also got baby,so I think these are reasons behind slow start of this season. When fit and fresh,he could be one of the best wingers in Epl,like Antonio Valencia, really productive,I think Carroll would be happy with his crosses.

  7. i wouldnt personally, if he has struggled in a league where they have as much time on the ball as they do in italy then i would guess he will be even less able to make an impact in a league where you have little time to think before the opposition is jumping down your throat. of course i could be wrong and he may thrive under that sort of pressure but i just feel there are younger, more promising options out there, Shaqiri springs to mind.

  8. Not for 15 mil.

Maybe 5 or 6, same as Juventus offered for Aquillani, much better player, that they had free of charge for a year.

  10. We actually do have pacy players, but they seldom get to use it as a weapon. Bellamy, Henderson, Lucas, Enrique, Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Gerrard and Downing are all pacy, but they are hardly coordinated enough or get played into space at all. Even Lennon or Walcott would look slow playing for us. Krasic is very much like Jovanovic and would be best off playing in the Bundesliga. With our style, we need someone with vision and movement. I am still baffled as to why we never signed Mata, were we banking on signing Marko Marin? I would certainly love to see Marin play for us, along with Shaqiri and Castaignos. These players are cheaper to sign than Hendo or Downing. They would make great replacements for our more senior forwards should they be moved on.

  12. Good replacement for kuyt and will be able to operate on the right. he does tend to come in a little and not hug the wing all of the time which can be a bonus for johnson or kelly to overlap. would be a good signing.

  13. The problem Krasic is having at Juventus is that they brought him to replace Pavel Nedved who had already played 5 seasons in Italian football (Lazio)before joining Juventus! Was playing well at Juventus but like Aquilani found out he wasn't wanted by the new coach. Would be more suited to the Premier League so would his team mate
Eljero Elia who went to Juventus and has only played twice!

  14. You don't think a tricky winger wouldn't offer something new to the players we have got?
He can beat his man carries the ball forward can score a goal cross a ball and scores goals something none of our wingers are doing at the moment on a regular bases!

  15. He's a no trick pony, just like our own Stewart Downing. There are far better options out there

  16.  we don't need him. Lfc in the past wanted him but he prefered to go to Juventus and rot. so let him rot there and there are many players that are much much better than him like Eden Hazard.
