VIDEO: Craig Bellamy's brilliant solo goal for Wales against Norway

Craig Bellamy showed Liverpool FC fans what they're missing earlier today with a superb solo goal against Norway.

Bellamy, who is being kept out of the Liverpool team by the continually ineffective Stewart Downing, picked up the ball in his own half and ran almost the full length of the field before curling the ball into the top left corner.

Bellamy has scored two goals in two starts for Liverpool this season yet continues to be left on the bench.

  2. I feel that Bellamy was signed mainly as a backup option, impact from the bench etc and he was happy with those terms initially just to get back to Liverpool, while still retaining the desire to make his mark, wait patiently and stake a claim for starting place when opportunity comes

He surely will have to be given some more minutes on the pitch soon

As for England, in response to JJ, England will never beat Spain in a competitive game unless all the planets align on the night

Defend for 48 minutes, attack for 10 seconds, defend for 42 minutes

"Our" (British and Irish) style of football just can't win out against passing teams, English defence must still be dizzy

I just hope Liverpool's investment in former Barcelona youth coaches shows some benefits in the near future, and we learn to pass and move, keep possession

I notice our reserves never have an older player in them, always young guys, future looks bright
