BREAKING NEWS: Craig Bellamy asks to be left out of LFC team to face City...

After learning of Gary Speed's sudden death earlier today, Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy has - according to one of my sources - asked Kenny Dalglish for permission to miss today's game against Manchester City at Anfield.

Bellamy has been captain of the Wales Team for the last 4 years, and will be understandably upset about today's shocking news.

Earlier today, Aston Villa's Shay Given was in tears on the pitch prior to Villa's game with Swansea.

I'm sure Dalglish will grant Bellamy's request; who can blame the player for not being in any frame of mind to play football today?

  11. Jaimie, your source is not only unreliable, it is totally fabricated. It was Dalglish who sent Bellamy home because he felt that Bellamy was totally devastated by the tragic news of Gary Speed's demise. Your so-called 'inside source' should be permanently kept locked and the key discarded.

  12. Shocking article - you should hang your head in shame.  Complete guess work, you have no source at the club.  Dalglish admitted on Sky that he made the descision for Bellamy!

  16. What is your problem? Bellamy asked to be left out and KD decided to grant that request, i.e. he decided not to play him. The story is not guess-work at all; why would someone guess something like that. I got the info from a source and it was clearly correct, and this site broke the story before any other news provider. If you think the story is in 'bad taste' then leave this site and go somewhere that won't offend your clearly fragile sensibilities.
