Fernando Torres finally got on the scoresheet again yesterday at Old Trafford, but the ecstacy quickly turned to agony for the former Liverpool striker, with a stunning miss that must surely rank amongst the worst of all time.
It's hard to understand how Torres missed this sitter:
One thing is for certain - Chelsea's 'slow' midfield had nothing to do with this howler. Let's just be thankful that Torres never missed gold-plated sitters like this for Liverpool.

Torres still looks closer to the player that Chelsea expected than Carroll does to the player that was beasting the league for Newcastle last year.
Fingers crossed there is an injury or something that we don't know about, that is holding him back from posing any sort of threat for us atm...
