Site update - 10 July 2008
Much to the disappointment of the 'Liverpool-Kop sucks!' brigade, this site is still very much alive. The lack of recent articles is purely down to the fact that there is simply nothing interesting to write about at the moment!
It's hardly been an inspiring summer so far; Gareth Barry saga? *yawn* Dossena and Degen sign on? *yawn*. As usual, Rafa is trying to sign players we don't need and ignoring the real problem areas, i.e. Wingers and creative, attacking link-men.
But there's still hope for some excitement. Liverpool are after all linked with the likes of James Milner and Robbie Keane! Who could not be excited about qualilty signings like that?! JK

If your a red then why are you advertising that paper on your site???
Cheap shot. It's a google adsense ad which is supposed to display LFC content. I have no control over what appears there, so don't try and insinuate that I've done that deliberately. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will quite cleary see the 'Don't buy the sun' banner. I've emailed google to get a block put on The S*n's ads (if that's possible) so that should resolve it.
Yes, that was cheap shot Jaimie, Just like when you accused an entire site of Reds of being S*n Readers. That is the lowest thing a Red can do in my opinion. You were basically using the Disaster to score points and I dont think you fully realise how hurtful that was. You should take a trip down to Liverpool mate and see how that comment goes down anywhere around here. It really was a shameful comment.
And before you say it, no I'm not from SixCrazyMinutes or TIA. I post on TheLiverpoolWay.

First of all, you are from Six Crazy Minutes so stop the lies. Every person who visits the site leaves an IP trail and I can access statistics about where each person comes from. You came from Six Crazy Minutes and went directly to the comment form. So please, don't lie.
Second, get off your high horse and stop being so self-righteous! I wasn't using the disaster to 'score points' in any way.
It's quite clear that when I called them S*n readers, I was implying they were tabloid fans i.e. ignorant, gutter yobs with a tabloid mentality.
Furthermore, it was not me who brought Hillsborough into the equation; 6CM did. Certain posters on there (Singlerider and Rosco if I recall correctly) started sensationalising and whining about how out of order I was, throwing the Hillsborough disaster around like some kind of weapon.
The fact is, if they had not done, there would have been no mention of Hillsborough at all.
Anyway, you refer to them as 'Reds', well, in my view, that site is not populated with Liverpool fans at all; it is full of ignorant, unpleasant Neanderthals with a vocabulary that consists of 'cunt' and variables thereof.
Indeed, a cursory scan of their post titles reveals topics like 'Fuck off now, Benitez' - 'Fuck off Rafa and take Deadly Dirk and Sicknote with you' - 'Rafa is shit and needs to go' and lots more like that. Real Liverpool fans do not say such things.
Add onto that the amount of disgraceful personal abuse directed at unpopular players (Sissoko/Riise/Kuyt etc plus Rafa) and the endless personal attacks they've launched on me, it is clear that many of the posters on Six Crazy Minutes ARE at the level of sun readers.
Hillsborough has nothing to do with this. I am making direct reference to their tabloid sensibilities - nothing more, nothing less.
I am fiercely critical of the team and individual players sometimes but I have NEVER personally attacked a player in any way, and I defy you to find anything approaching personal attacks in my articles.
So spare me your sanctimony and get your facts straight before trying to take the moral high ground.
Six Crazy Minutes is a board full of unpleasant morons and yes, in my view, they act like Sun Readers. I have had the misfortune of meeting many football fans who read The Sun, and they are invariably foul-mouthed tossers just like the cretins on SCM.
Er Jamie, perhaps Red Tom is a lurker at SCM? I lurk at numerous sites without being a member. Its possible, very possible. And can you stop labelling everyone from a site which has 100's of members as "neanderthals". Its cheap, and its factually incorrect. I know a newspaper who uses that sort of tactic to boost ratings....
